~Box of Matches
Life is like a box of matches in the dark
It needs just a tiny flame
To make it spark
Without the spark, you have no direction
But with it, the difference is stark.
This is my poem, and I will be explaining why I wrote it this way. The dark represents your life in general. The box of matches is your ambition in life. The next line, the flame is your source of inspiration, which brings us to the next line, the spark. It is your inspiration for your ambition. So, the fourth line, means that if you have no ambition, you have no idea where to proceed in life. So, if you have an ambition, you can see the apparent difference.
This is a wonderful and meaningful poem as it teaches a way of life which is having ambition. Having ambition, you could make a full use of your this life and not waste it. A person coming to earth is not to eat,sleep and die eventually, but to do at least a little contribution to the society before leaving this place, if not, there is no meaning of life already.
ReplyDeleteI really think that this poem is a great poem as it teaches us that ambition is a must-have for all the people as we must have ambition in order to carry on with our life. Without it, our life would be without no direction and we will have no aim in life and will live our lives meaninglessly.
